Kiss Me, Sugar, Apple Pie II

Kiss Me, Sugar, Apple Pie II: Review of my new Corer/Peeler/Slicer

For the full recipe click on the "Recipe" label for "Kiss Me, Sugar, Apple Pie" and "The Best Flaky Pie Crust!"

So I invested in an apple corer/slicer/peeler and it was worth it!  I cored/sliced/and peeled 12 cups of Granny Smith apples in less than 5 minutes which usually takes me 45 minutes by hand! I bought my corer/slicer/peeler on Amazon for $10 and I have Amazon Prime which includes free 2 day shipping!

I love that this version has a suction cup base rather than something that attaches to a counter.  It didn't slip once!  This gadget can also peel potatoes.  It is heavy duty and high quality.  I recommend it without doubt!

Here is the one I purchased:

Kitchen Basics Quick Triple Feature Heavy Duty Apple Peeler, Slicer & Corer - Professional Grade (Red)

**When I go to the trouble of making Apple Pie I make a few at once.  It really isn't that much more work.  The 12 cups of apples that I mentioned I peeled and sliced with this gadget makes two 8/9 inch pies or one 9 inch pie and two "sweetie pies" (individual serving pies)-see picture below.

Enjoy!
Love, Tata

This Crust is to die for! The apples were the perfect consistency and the spicing was right on the money. If you love Apple Pie, this is a must try!
